Project Estimator

**Job Summary:**

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Estimator to support our Shell EPC Contract. This role will be part of our Projects and Modifications Portfolio, working closely with project management, technical departments, and the wider project controls team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare, review, and submit accurate estimates of project costs to ensure accurate budgeting and planning.
* Develop project estimates to the required level of detail and accuracy, in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies.
* Support senior members of the estimating team in the management and development of estimating norms and the preparation of project estimate documentation.
* Act as a focal point for several project scopes, working with the wider team to identify areas of best practice and drive continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

* Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
* Progressive industry experience in estimating positions.
* Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques and systems.
* Excellent understanding of project management principles and techniques.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to use estimating methods.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
