Safety and efficiency are crucial elements in the success of Morrison Data Services' operations. To meet this goal, we seek a highly skilled Safety Assurance Specialist to contribute to the development of our Health and Safety Management System.

This position requires the ability to review and analyze safety-related processes, recommend improvements, and develop procedures for managing risk.

The successful candidate should have a strong background in HSE auditing and experience in implementing ISO45001 & or 14001 standards within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine gaps in existing Health and Safety Management Systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain safe working practices.
  • Analyze incidents, injuries, and accidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and guidelines related to health and safety.
  • Communicate risks and concerns to management and employees.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on safety performance and progress towards goals.
