Job Description:

This Defence Engineer position requires an individual with a focus on quality assurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer specifications, maintaining a robust quality management system, and supporting external audits and assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out schedules of audits and assessments, completing associated documentation and activities in accordance with the QMS.">
• Support investigations arising from quality issues through to their documented conclusion, including root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence.">
• Maintain quality measures with associated targets for QA Compliance.">
• Support external quality audits, assessments, and visits by customers and authorities.">
• Collaborate in the coordination and facilitation of timely responses and resolution of quality issues identified.">
• Assist in generating quality plans and proposals.">
• Support customer or supplier source inspection or delegate product review verification activities.">
• Facilitate concession applications and engineering change requests.">
• Participate in engineering design project reviews and auditing these projects to ensure compliance with internal QMS requirements.">

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £41,000 per annum. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate can expect a range of benefits, including opportunities for career development and professional growth.
