Join Recruit 2 Success in this exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team at our Children's Homes. As a Registered Children's Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Home's Statement of Purpose, ensuring the well-being and safety of our looked-after children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with workers, local community, colleagues, and agencies to promote collaborative working and maximize positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Lead, line manage, and motivate the team to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement, providing supervision, support, assessment, training, coaching, and appraisal.
  • Manage staffing deployment, including recruitment and retention, compliance with safer recruitment practices, and preparing rotas to monitor working hours.
  • Maintain good communication and information systems, managing information exchange between the team, organization, and stakeholders to inform decision-making.
  • Establish and sustain respectful relationships with children and families, building trust and enabling constructive information exchange.

This role requires a QCF Level 5 Diploma in Childcare, with desirables including Level 3 Safeguarding and DSL qualifications. A comprehensive knowledge of legislative frameworks governing residential childcare and current trends is essential. Experience of leading, developing, and managing teams, as well as safeguarding and protecting children from abuse, is also crucial.
