Paediatric Nurse Specialist

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be working as a Registered Paediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse in one of our top-performing NHS trusts. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care to critically ill children.
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans that cater to the unique needs of each child. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
The ideal candidate will possess a Degree/Diploma in Nursing, have at least 6 months of paid experience in PICU within an NHS or private hospital within the last 3 years, and hold a valid NMC registration. A Statement of NMC Registration is also required.
Salary: £25-£35 per hour
Job Responsibilities- Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up-to-date with current nursing practices.
- Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
- Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
- Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
- Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
