As a Therapeutic Deputy Home Manager with Additional Resources, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily running of a therapeutic residential home. This is an exciting opportunity to work with vulnerable children and make a positive impact on their lives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the Home Manager in leading the staff team, conducting supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory paperwork, logs, and reports are completed on time and meet required standards.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership to the staff team, including conducting supervision, appraisals, and performance reviews.
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of Care and Therapeutic Placement Plans, ensuring the children's emotional and mental health needs are met.
  3. Ensure that all regulatory paperwork, logs, and reports are completed on time and meet required standards.
  4. Lead the team in planning, organising, and delivering activities that are appropriate to the children's emotional and developmental needs.

Salary: £33,250 - £35,750 per annum (dependent on experience)

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in childcare, preferably at a senior level.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
