Nursery Manager Job Description

Our client, a leading ethical childcare provider, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Nursery Manager to join their team. As a key member of the nursery team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.

The successful candidate will have a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years and a minimum of two years' experience in early years management. They will be accountable for meeting all objectives and nursery targets, ensuring the nursery is efficient and profitable. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, able to inspire and motivate their team to deliver the best childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all children.
  2. Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  3. Lead the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursery, making recommendations for improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early Years.
  2. Minimum two years' experience in early years management.
  3. Early years management experience preferable.
  4. ICT qualification preferable or very good knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  5. Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Early Education inspection Framework.
