Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our client's team in their field workshop. As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults and repairing/maintaining a variety of plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, and small tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults on plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, and small tools
  • Check and tag all equipment and update service records
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories
  • Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
  • Abide by customer Health & Safety rules when on site
  • Keep workshop organised, clean and tidy and assist with general workshop duties as and when required
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as deemed necessary by the Foreman or General Manager

Requirements:

  • Worked in a similar workshop/field-based environment
  • A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification
  • A solid knowledge and understanding of plant equipment or mechanically minded
  • A strong eye for detail
