We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Command Recruitment. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair using technical knowledge and skills.
  • Test, diagnose, and resolve faults in vehicles.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical systems to inspect and repair components.
  • Check vehicle subsystems for wear and tear.
  • Liaise with customers as necessary to provide excellent customer service.
  • Support other technicians in the workshop to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work to the highest quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain high standards of house-keeping and organization.
  • Prior experience of working to efficiency targets.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable but not essential.
  • VOSA-approved MOT tester is essential.
  • Must hold minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent.
