Job Description:
As a Secondary School Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons aligned with the curriculum for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Your primary goal will be to inspire students in the kitchen, developing their essential culinary skills and promoting an understanding of nutrition, food safety, and healthy eating habits.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and share best practices.
  • Promote cross-curricular connections, emphasizing the importance of food technology in everyday life.


Salary Information:
A competitive salary of £120-£160 per day, commensurate with experience, will be offered to successful candidates. This compensation package reflects the value we place on your expertise and dedication to teaching.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) and have experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting, particularly in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. A passion for food and cooking, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for inspiring students and collaborating with colleagues.
