Job Overview: This role involves working with children with ADHD at a primary school in Colchester, Essex. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to Key Stage 2 students and collaborating with teachers to create a structured learning environment. You will also offer emotional and social support to help students feel confident and supported.
Key Tasks:
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with ADHD.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting their confidence and self-esteem.
Essential Qualities:
- Previous experience working with children with ADHD or other special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A relevant qualification in SEN support or childcare is desirable but not essential.
Salary Range: £80-£95 per day.
