Job Title: Fire Systems Project Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Project Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and are installed correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and performance testing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on all projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and provide detailed reports.
  • Assist with system training for end-users and operational staff.
  • Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project.
  • Provide technical expertise as required on projects.
  • Attend site meetings as required.
  • Line management of engineers and sub contractors as assigned.
  • Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager.
  • Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites.
  • Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required.
  • Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in commissioning fire detection and alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various fire alarm systems such as Gent, Notifier, and Kentec.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
  • Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
  • Technical knowledge of Major systems and projects.
