Fire Systems Project Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Systems Project Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Marlowe Fire & Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and are installed correctly.
Key Responsibilities:- Commission fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys, installation inspections, and performance testing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations on all projects.
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and provide detailed reports.
- Assist with system training for end-users and operational staff.
- Plan and control labour and materials required to deliver the project.
- Provide technical expertise as required on projects.
- Attend site meetings as required.
- Line management of engineers and sub contractors as assigned.
- Managing job profitability of assigned projects and reporting into the project manager.
- Controlling all aspects of health and safety on sites.
- Carry out installation and commissioning of systems and minor works when required.
- Ensure the maintenance of Marlowe quality and HSE standards.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commissioning fire detection and alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of various fire alarm systems such as Gent, Notifier, and Kentec.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred.
- Experience of engineering projects across single and multiple site locations.
- Demonstrable technical experience with good interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge of Major systems and projects.
- Basic Salary – up to £40,000 per annum.
- Overtime, Travel Time circa £10,000 per annum.
