About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our Digital Health Technology team at ResMed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, with a focus on Okta.

Your primary objective will be to drive the global roadmap for IAM, ensuring scalability, resilience, and a seamless end-user experience. You will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading our Okta Platform Engineers globally, helping them develop their skills and see the impact they are making across the organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from setting up org2org and SCIM configuration in Okta to driving team documentation and ensuring industry and security standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and help define the global roadmap for Identity and Access Management while ensuring scalability, resilience, and a seamless end-user experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead the Okta Platform Engineers globally, helping to develop their skills and see the impact they are making across the organization.
  • Set up org2org and SCIM configuration in OKTA.
  • Drive team to document system configurations, standards, and procedures ensuring industry and security standards are met.
  • Participate in ongoing compliance, monitoring, and strategy discussions.
  • Be the voice and brand for the Okta ecosystem, ensuring communication to the end-users is effective and what is needed for each specific user.
  • Work at consistently learning new leadership skills that will help develop and enhance the teams skills.
  • Drive to educate cross-functional teams skills in the IAM space that will result in a better end-user experience.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in building, executing, and managing enterprise IAM initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in creating IAM processes, implementing and integrating appropriate technologies, and evolving/maturing organizational cultures and processes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience building Identity & Access Management services or IAM this must be including but not limited to an Okta environment. Azure AD, Okta)
  • Sound judgment and ability to effectively balance information risk controls with business productivity and growth.
  • Previous experience deploying upgrades and conducting UAT.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Excellent written communication to build technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative scrum team supporting both project initiatives and operational requests.

This Senior Platform Engineering Okta role will act as a design, build, and enhance role helping to execute on all systems DWE builds focusing on Okta specifically. You will help enable Okta Platform Engineers to be able to support the business in an effective and secure manner while innovating our Okta environment.

You will be a person who listens to what the business needs, has a focus on user experience, and drives innovation in a secure and effective manner while enhancing your skills and ResMed's IAM structures and capabilities.
