We are seeking a seasoned Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team at Understanding Recruitment, a leading technology, software & digital recruitment consultancy. As a specialist in the public sector, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing client relationships, leveraging your expertise to identify and fulfill their unique staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships within the public sector, leveraging your expertise to identify and fulfill their unique staffing needs.
  • Excel in lead generation and business development, demonstrating your prowess in securing and managing your own client portfolio.
  • Employ a multifaceted approach to talent acquisition, utilising resources such as Bullhorn CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking events to draw in the finest candidates.
  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to gauge candidates' skills and suitability for a wide array of roles within the public sector.
  • Serve as a guide for candidates throughout the recruitment process, offering invaluable support and advice.
  • Exhibit your negotiation prowess while overseeing job offers and efficiently managing the onboarding process for successful candidates.

Requirements:

  • Substantial public sector experience, working within public sector frameworks such as NHS, CCS or similar.
  • A proven track record of achieving and surpassing billing targets and KPIs, supported by your 360 Business Development expertise.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building enduring connections with clients and candidates.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate the complexities of data-centric roles.
