We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Construction team at Gleeson Homes. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high performing, customer-focused onsite construction team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality homes on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of labour-only groundworkers/contractors and ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
- Liaise with head office, NHBC, and local authority departments
- Ensure all NHBC inspections are carried out as required
- Carry out handover inspections of properties to customers
- Actively encourage a philosophy of safety, progress, quality, and innovation
- Previous experience as a Site Manager working on high volume new build housing developments
- Extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour-only groundworkers/contractors
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes
- Strong commercial awareness
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes
- Awareness of codes of practice that impact on construction matters
