Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Level 5 Childcare Apprentice in a leadership role. As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our nursery, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the nursery, including staff, children, and equipment.
- Lead on operational management and coordination of the childcare provision, working towards an outstanding level of care.
- Conduct a mix of managerial and in-room tasks, including financial operations, meeting targets, and managing occupancy levels.
- Monitor and assess the quality of provision, ensuring policies and procedures, best practice, and standards are maintained.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential.
- GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain clear DBS.
- At least 2 years' experience of leadership within an Early Years Setting or suitable experience.
Qualities Required:
- Passionate about early years and staff development.
- Dedicated and approachable leader.
- Strong leadership styles that ensure our nursery team is well-equipped to provide the highest standards of early learning and childcare.
