Landscape Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate and manage the Walkham Valley Landscape Recovery Scheme development phase. This will involve producing a series of plans that offer significant environmental outcomes alongside social and business benefits for scheme members.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans for the WVLR development phase
- Negotiate and consult with stakeholders to achieve environmental and social benefits
- Work closely with the Dartmoor Hill Farming Project Land Management Advisor and line manage two dedicated WVLR staff
- Provide advice, support, training, and expertise to the Dartmoor rural community and agricultural transition period
- Facilitate advice and training across key business themes such as succession, agricultural transition, farm resilience, environment, funding, and wellbeing
- Proven project management experience and excellent administration and communications skills
- Experience of developing good relationships with farmers and partners, providing agricultural and environmental advice, and understanding of rural issues
- Track record of securing funding and providing support and training programmes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Salary of £37,366 - £41,418 per annum
