About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Consultant to join our team at Connect2Hampshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the prioritization and reconciliation of supplier accounts with outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete the prioritization and reconciliation of supplier accounts with outstanding balances.
  2. Report on progress - weekly updates on completion of reconciliations, reductions of backlog, new rejections and outstanding volumes.
  3. Maintain an awareness of corporate and departmental equalities and health & safety policies and procedures and apply them in the day-to-day requirements of the job.

Requirements:

  1. Support the delivery of key accounting functions (e.g. budget preparation, budget monitoring and year-end accounts).
  2. Evidence of being able to manage and control work to professional and quality standards within appropriate deadlines.
  3. Able to use financial systems and applications to extract and interpret relevant information.
  4. Experienced in using spreadsheets and word processing software in order to analyze and present information.
  5. Able to display professional development beyond that acquired during the normal course of a job or formal training and commitment to continuous professional development.
  6. Qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians or agreed equivalent relevant qualification.
