Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Control Analyst to join our team at cer Financial Ltd, a warm and diverse international bank based in the City of London. As a Risk and Control Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing the bank's risk profile to ensure that risk policies are implemented efficiently and effectively across all business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of various risk management areas, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk.
- Provide support in the day-to-day delivery of the Risk Management Framework, including assisting the Head of Risk in limit monitoring, daily and periodic reporting, and resolving ad-hoc issues.
- Help in running the liquidity risk and stress testing report, provide analysis and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided.
- Collect the departmental monthly Operational Risk KRI from the Heads of Departments, assist the Head of risk to conduct operational risk self-assessments quarterly.
- Ensure timely production and accurate delivery of risk regulatory reports.
- Provide support in monitoring and reporting of operational incidents impacting the branch.
- Provide support in maintaining spreadsheets, including basic VBA coding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a 2:1
- 1 to 3 years of working experience in a regulated business, particularly in areas related to analytics and control functions.
- Basic understanding of financial risk and banking products.
