About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team on a flexible weekend schedule. As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to a lady with a progressive life-shortening illness, ensuring her comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support for all activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and drinking, taking into account the client's pureed diet and choking risks.
- Support with general tasks, such as laundry, bed changing, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Administer medication via a PEG and provide support during hospital appointments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role.
- Honest, reliable, and caring nature.
- Punctual and trustworthy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
