Care Worker for Flexible Weekend Hours

Care Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a care worker for a lady in a small village near Alnwick. The successful candidate will be required to provide support with all aspects of care, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and be able to work flexibly, including weekends. They will also be required to attend training sessions to learn about the client's specific needs and requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support with all aspects of care, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Assist with transfers and repositioning using a mobile hoist.
- Support with meal preparation, feeding, and drinking, including managing choking risks.
- Assist with general tasks, including laundry, bed change, and ensuring the wet room area is clean and safe.
Requirements:
- Experience in home care.
- Honest, reliable, and caring nature.
- Punctual and trustworthy.
- Respect confidentiality.
Further Information:
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will be required for the successful candidate. Training will be provided as necessary, including Health and Safety training.
