Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of goods to customers across various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Load and unload goods, handling items with care to prevent damage.
  • Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, minimizing delays and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing regular checks and maintenance as needed.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing the safety of customers and employees.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service to customers.
  • Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
