About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practice Lead to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading advancing practice across the organisation, incorporating enhanced, advanced, and consultant levels of practice.

About You:

  • You will have a strong background in advanced clinical practice, with experience in designing and implementing frameworks or standards for advanced practice roles.
  • You will possess excellent leadership, influencing, and negotiating skills, with the ability to motivate and involve clinical teams and individuals.
  • You will have a deep understanding of professional and current issues in children's advanced practice and healthcare.

The Team:

You will work closely with the senior clinical leadership team to proactively influence regional and national priorities related to Advanced Clinical Practice.

The Role:

As Advanced Clinical Practice Lead, you will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and leading advancing practice across the organisation, incorporating enhanced, advanced, and consultant levels of practice.
  2. Designing and implementing frameworks or standards for advanced practice roles.
  3. Providing expert advice and leadership relating to advancing practice in the formulation of strategic and operational plans and policies.
  4. Leading on the development of a Trust Framework for Advancing Practice and updating appropriately.
