F5 is a leader in the digital transformation space, and we're seeking a talented Enterprise Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Global Services team, you'll play a critical role in empowering our customers to create, secure, and operate applications that deliver extraordinary digital experiences.

About the Role

The Enterprise Network Engineer position is the most senior technical support role within F5 Global Services. You'll be responsible for providing Tier-3 technical support to resolve software and hardware issues related to F5 products, as well as developing innovative debug/repro tools and solutions to problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support to resolve complex software and hardware issues related to F5 products.
  • Develop and implement innovative debug/repro tools and solutions to problems.
  • Collaborate with peers, engineers, managers, and related F5 departments to ensure seamless support and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in knowledge-centric support environments via article/documentation creation, training, and mentoring Tier 2 engineers.
  • Continuously develop and improve technical skills through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Deep conceptual knowledge of software and networking protocols, including Linux/UNIX and OSI model.
  • Subject matter expertise in troubleshooting and protocol analysis using tools like tcpdump, TShark, or Wireshark.
  • Ability to reproduce issues using appropriate tools and communicate complex technical topics to customers, peers, and non-technical personnel.
  • Customer support experience with enterprise-level corporate customers in production environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical topics in an understandable manner.
