Job Title: Group Financial Controller

Michael Page (UK) is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team on a hybrid basis, with a competitive daily rate of £450-550pd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate working capital management and maintain financial control standards.
  • Develop finance policies and manuals, and review and approve month-end reports.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial numbers within the systems and manage timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Provide oversight on Financial Planning and Tax matters, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Produce statutory accounts for UK legal entities in accordance with FRS102.
  • Review overseas legal entity statutory accounts for compliance with local regulations and ensure timely audits and filings.
  • Lead the annual audit for the client's group and coordinate with the Project Finance team on audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a Group Function of a multi-site business
  • Experience in managing a team, including qualified accountants
  • Experience in month end close, year end and leading on auditor liaison
  • Able to commute, on a hybrid basis, to central Oxford
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (Ideal, not essential)
