Job Title: Group Financial Controller

Michael Page (UK) is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of working capital management, maintaining financial control standards, and developing finance policies and manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of working capital management and maintain financial control standards.
  • Develop finance policies and manuals to ensure compliance with FRS102 and company policies.
  • Review and approve month-end reports to ensure compliance with FRS102 and policy manuals.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial numbers within the systems.
  • Manage timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the Board and Senior Management.
  • Provide oversight on Financial Planning and Tax matters, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Produce statutory accounts for UK legal entities in accordance with FRS102.
  • Review overseas legal entity statutory accounts for compliance with local regulations and ensure timely audits and filings.
  • Lead the annual audit for the client's group and coordinate with the Project Finance team on audit requirements.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a Group Function of a multi-site business
  • Experience in managing a team, including qualified accountants
  • Experience in month end close, year end and leading on auditor liaison
  • Able to commute, on a hybrid basis, to central Oxford
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (Ideal, not essential)

  • A competitive daily rate (£450-550pd)
  • Hybrid working, time on office in Central Oxford office is required (1-2 days per week in office)
