About the Role

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our Clinical Informatics Team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of electronic prescribing systems across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Pharmacist, Informatics in the development and optimization of electronic prescribing systems.
  • Work with the Head of IT Projects and the EPR team to implement new digital medicines initiatives.
  • Support the pharmacy team in developing, validating, and maintaining pharmacy digital systems.
  • Provide assurance of the use of electronic medicines management systems across the Trust.
  • Ensure patient safety, security of access, system availability, and data accuracy.

Requirements
  • MPharm (Master's Degree) or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous significant experience of working with clinical IT systems, including ePMA.
  • Knowledge of regulations and legislation relevant to EPMA.
  • Demonstrates an ability to analyze and interpret data.
