Mechanical Engineering Placement Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Facilities Engineer on our 12-month Facilities Placement programme. This exciting opportunity will provide you with a real chance to contribute to our success story, working alongside our experienced engineers in a state-of-the-art research and development centre.

As a key member of our industry placements team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our mechanical projects, working closely with our experienced engineers. In this role, you will have exposure to the entire project management process, including the implementation of mechanical and electrical systems, civils and controls. You will have ownership of specific projects from project plan creation through to the distribution of the project and will assist managers in the collection of data which will be centric to project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working on business-critical projects and liaising cross-functionally to deliver objectives. Our benefits package includes:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong academic record, with a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree, such as Building Services, Civil or Mechanical engineering. Previous experience working with design software, mechanical/electrical/control understanding or similar is also desirable.
