Site Civil Supervisor

Binnies, an RSK Group Company, is seeking a Site Civil Supervisor to join our @one Alliance team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our site operations towards safety, quality, and project targets. You will work closely with our Site Managers and site operatives to ensure key messages are conveyed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work carried out meets @one alliance and statutory legal requirements through site inspections, method statement reviews, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure site personnel have relevant training and plant equipment/machinery are in good working order with up-to-date certificates.
  • Communicate with site team members on upcoming activities to minimize delays to production.
  • Oversee temporary works, ensuring work is installed as per design and Site Manager is updated accordingly.
  • Encourage and promote near miss reporting, ensuring close outs are delivered and fed back to site manager and operatives.
  • Champion a 'Get it right first time' mentality, checking quality of finished products delivered by teams to ensure high standards.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of gangs/site operatives.
  • Order and manage hired internal and external equipment to optimize performance and reduce costs.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will hold a CSCS Supervisor card and a CITB SMSTS/SSSTS qualification. You will be focused on Health & Safety, holding a First Aid at Work qualification, and be aware of our environment and challenges facing our operations. You will also be HSG47 trained in Service Avoidance techniques and have completed a SEATS course.

You will be comfortable using IT software and packages to complete required site administration and demonstrate proven problem-solving skills by embracing new technologies and ways of working. As a trusted and visible leader, you will encourage, support, and mentor a range of different operatives on site to meet individual career aspirations while enhancing team output to meet deadlines.
