About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Royal London Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing efficient solutions that meet business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop complex solutions within your area of technical expertise.
  • Carry out impact assessments of complex changes to existing applications.
  • Document and agree designs in advance and to agreed standards.
  • Ensure all code meets Group standards, guidelines, and quality gates for given technology.
  • Thoroughly test all code to ensure any issues are identified as early as possible, working closely with the test team.
  • Safely implement solutions to production environments.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the team.
  • Contribute to software development practices by sharing ideas and experience.
  • Review the work of others.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience in.NET and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud is highly preferred. You should be able to work without supervision and have a good understanding of agile development practices. Additionally, you should be familiar with automated testing techniques and frameworks.
