Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records using accounting software, ensuring seamless data management and analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate service delivery, fostering a culture of teamwork and open communication.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address queries, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Support senior accountants with complex tasks and projects, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax laws, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas and expertise to drive business growth and success.

Requirements:

  • AAT qualified or studying towards AAT qualification, with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • Prior experience working within accounts, preferably in a practice setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work, with a focus on quality and precision.
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration and client interactions, with the ability to build strong relationships and rapport.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and developing accounting expertise, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
