About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a wonderful, 3 form entry, Ofsted GOOD, mainstream primary school located in Borehamwood. The school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a student in Year 3 with ASD, providing individualized support and assistance
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress
Requirements
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one)
  • Hardworking, friendly individual with a passion for supporting students with SEN
  • Ability to work closely with children in SEN, with experience in working with ASD preferred but not essential
