Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer Manager to lead our site engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and implementing network-wide improvement initiatives.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the site engineering team and build a culture of safety
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and provide a safe working environment for all occupants
  • Implement network-wide improvement initiatives and develop standards
  • Work with the recruitment team to ensure allocated headcount is filled with high-quality experienced staff
  • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans and coordinate rehearsals with affected parties
  • Plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or experience at Amazon
  • Experience in employee and performance management
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field
  • Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics
