Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food packing lines, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Operate food packing lines effectively, working closely with a small team to achieve production targets.
- Conduct regular quality checks, escalating any non-conformances and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform sanitation and CRP tasks to the required standard, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S and lean standards.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Take ownership of your zone and the plant, promoting good housekeeping and hygiene practices.
- Use data from Lineview to optimize machine performance, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, with strong communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments as required.
- Results-focused, with a strong commitment to meeting targets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement approach.
- Strong team player who promotes safe working practices.
