Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at PepsiCo UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food packing lines, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate food packing lines effectively, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks, escalating any non-conformances and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform sanitation and CRP tasks to the required standard, completing all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and hygienic work environment, adhering to safety protocols and improving safety through plant systems.
- Drive plant key performance indicator (KPI) targets, focusing on cost, quality, service, hygiene, and safety.
- Take ownership of your zone and the plant, ensuring good housekeeping, hygiene, and 5S/lean standards are met.
- Use OEE data to improve cost, quality, efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Operate machinery and perform minor adjustments as required, utilizing data from Lineview to understand machine performance.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
- Basic training will be provided, but good numeric and computer skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, with good communication skills.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform minor adjustments if required.
