Care Home Operations Manager

About the Role:
The Head Housekeeper is a key member of our team at Athena Care Homes, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service in our residential care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall responsibility for support services within the home, including laundry and domestic housekeeping.
- Support the management team in the recruitment, induction, and training of the support service team, ensuring training targets are met and the team is competent in their roles.
- Manage rotas, budgets, stocks, and reporting duties for the Housekeeping department within the home.
- Support, lead, manage, and inspire direct reports to deliver outstanding service for the home.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, with proven experience successfully managing a team, budgets, and targets.
- A passion for care and a genuine commitment to putting the needs of our residents first.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as high attention to detail.
