About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare and customer care to join our team as a Relief Phlebotomist. In this role, you will be working on behalf of Our Future Health, a charity in partnership with the NHS, aiming to become the UK's largest ever health research programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome participants warmly, verify their details, and explain the phlebotomy procedure clearly.
  • Manage clerical responsibilities, including coordinating appointment bookings and ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Take and maintain venous blood samples from participants.
  • Support patients and customers on the healthcare counter, providing informed advice on healthcare products and services.
  • Pursue additional training through an NVQ2 Healthcare training programme.
Requirements
  • A full driving licence and access to a car are necessary due to the travel requirements of this role.
  • Flexibility to work weekends is essential.
