Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs within the Fenestration Industry.
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum (negotiable) + £5,000-£10,000 bonus.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in East Midlands and East Anglia. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling high-end manufactured range of multi-point locking systems for windows and doors to window and door fabricators.
The role involves inheriting an established customer base, managing relationships with window and door fabricators, and recruiting new commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, be autonomous in nature, and comfortable with technical regulations and legislation around internal timber fire door locking systems.
As a Key Account Sales Manager, you will be responsible for £2.5m-£3m revenue and expected to manage the distribution network efficiently. You will also be tasked with winning specifications with architects, local authorities, M&E contractors, and main contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Window and door hardware field sales experience from within the construction industry.
• Ability to hit the ground running and inherit an existing customer base.
• Doors/doorsets or door hardware field sales experience, preferably with composite, aluminium, PVC, composite fire doors, or timber fire doors.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Autonomy in nature and comfortable with technical regulations and legislation.
