Mechanical Project Role

People Group, a leading engineering solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join its Building Services division. Based in the Piccadilly area, this project will run until 2026.

The selected candidate will oversee the mechanical aspects of the project from pre-construction review to completion, ensuring alignment with specifications and schedules. They will work closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor mechanical installations to ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and regulations.
  • Track mechanical work progress against the budget, identifying and addressing any cost variations.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards during project execution.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges, design issues, or site constraints promptly to maintain project progress.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates on project status, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the commissioning and handover process, ensuring all systems are tested and operational.

The estimated salary for this position is £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes benefits such as car allowance, full travel expenses, private health care, pension, and life assurance.
