Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group Ltd. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing fire alarm systems in a variety of settings, including retail units, office blocks, and other commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance tasks on a diverse customer base, ensuring compliance with British Standards.
  • Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems, including Gent and Notifier panels.
  • Perform a range of tasks, from small works to commissioning, and have the opportunity to develop and enhance your installation skills.
  • Use your expertise to fault find and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm systems.
  • Provide a comprehensive service to our customers, adhering to British Standards and current Health & Safety legislation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire System maintenance/installation/design or estimation.
  • FIA Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Module.
  • Experience of open / Close protocol fire alarm systems.
  • Electrical design with fire alarm element.
  • Working knowledge of BS5839 & current Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to work to time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving licence.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-disciplined Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team and work on a variety of projects in the London and surrounding areas.
