Fire Alarm Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Proactive Solutions Group Ltd. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks on a varied customer base, from retail units to office blocks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire System maintenance/installation/design or estimation, with a strong background in electrical design with fire alarm elements. You will also need to have experience of open / Close protocol fire alarm systems and a working knowledge of BS5839 & current Health & Safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned service and maintenance tasks on a varied customer base
  • Carrying out a range of tasks from small works to commissioning
  • Opportunity to carry out some larger installation work on projects for those with a desire to develop and enhance their install skills
  • Use existing knowledge and experience to fault find
  • Offering a comprehensive service to our customers in accordance with British Standards in a defined area

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire System maintenance/installation/design or estimation
  • FIA Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance Module
  • Experience of open / Close protocol fire alarm systems
  • Electrical design with fire alarm element
  • Working knowledge of BS5839 & current Health & Safety legislation
  • The ability to work to time sensitive deadlines

What We Offer:

Base Salary + Commission, up to £45k depending on experience. The higher end of the salary bracket will go to multi skilled fire alarm engineers experienced in Gent, Notifier panels etc.
