NRL Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join a team as a Department Assistant, providing vital support to the Contracts, Commercial, and Construction department.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of departmental activities, handling administrative tasks efficiently, and assisting in various aspects of contracts, commercial, and construction-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems for contracts, commercial agreements, and construction-related documents.
  • Provide administrative support to managers, including document control and communication with subcontractors.
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports.
  • Coordinate logistics for construction projects, including scheduling deliveries and arranging site visits.
  • Compile and analyze data related to contracts, commercial agreements, and construction projects.
  • Generate regular reports and summaries to track project progress, expenditures, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Contracts, Commercial, and Construction department and other internal departments.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a contracts, commercial, or construction environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with contract management software or databases.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and construction project management principles is desirable.

This role is based fully from the office and is not available for hybrid or work-from-home models.
