Job Title: Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our team at NRL Recruitment. As a Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of Integrated Project Controls processes for Planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Programme Manager in the production of monthly reports, providing intelligent information and analysis.
  • Collaborate with others to deliver Project goals, adhering to project principles of Trust, Transparency, and Teamwork.
  • Produce and maintain the schedule baseline IWS in Primavera 6 (P6), with fully logic-linked work plans aligned to the Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Ensure the Level 2 IWS is updated to an agreed timeframe for monthly reporting.
  • Update Level 3 schedules as required to reflect work progress and performance.
  • Ensure contractor schedules are produced in accordance with project processes and align to the IWS forecast position.
  • Maintain daily and weekly work planning in 4D model.
  • Provide quality checks on Scheduling data.
  • Assist in the Trend & Change process, including analysis of schedule impact, generating performance indicators, and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.
  • Adhere to Project governance and Scheduling standards and procedures.
  • Ensure all Project documents, particularly Sensitive Nuclear Information, are correctly protectively marked and protected in accordance with client policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Technical and practical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and construction methods and techniques in a UK context.
  • Ability to produce accurate, complete, and fully logic-linked construction plans.
