Job Description: Editorial Project Coordinator

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced desk editor to join our team as an Editorial Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage projects from manuscript to final pdf/XML file, handle communications with internal teams and external suppliers, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our editorial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from manuscript to final pdf/XML file.
  • Liaise with editors, production, and editorial staff, suppliers, and freelancers.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, and XML for tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and digital skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Adobe.
  • Thorough knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Some knowledge of XML an advantage.

Estimated Salary: £25,600 per annum (dependent on experience)
