Job Summary

BTVK Advisory, a leading advisory firm with operations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, is seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant to join our growing London Forensics, Litigation & Valuation Services (FLVS) team. As a Senior Consultant, you will conduct and prepare forensic financial analyses, work closely with senior management, and maintain excellent client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and prepare forensic financial analyses, building models, maintaining documents, and discussing problems/issues with senior management.
  • Work autonomously, directing staff, instructing them in work to be performed, reviewing their completed work, and directing revisions or actions.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, establish leverage on project teams, assign/project responsibilities to team members, and carry out quantification of claims on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers, and others.
  • Analyse data and financial/non-financial information, apply a forensic approach, and assist in preparing clear, concise reports understandable by non-accountants.
  • Be flexible and responsive to client needs, available for meetings at times and places stipulated by the client, working long days and tight deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, participating in Firm business development efforts, and representing the Firm at business and community functions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience or related experience.
  • Candidates should be exam qualified with post-qualification experience as ACA or ACCA, demonstrating progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence.
  • Experience in forensic accounting and litigation support is strongly preferred, along with computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours to meet client demands if required, confident to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines.
  • Candidates with language skills are encouraged to apply, fluent in English required.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
