Job Opportunity

Pursue a challenging role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Bayman Atkinson Smythe Limited, a successful and expanding manufacturing group based in South Manchester. This 6-month position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000 + benefits, along with a range of perks.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a diverse talent pipeline, focusing on key roles within manufacturing and engineering.
  2. Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates through various direct sourcing methods, including social media, networking events, job boards, and industry-specific platforms.
  3. Screen, shortlist, and endorse candidates for open and projected job positions, ensuring a thorough understanding of each role's requirements.
  4. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and expectations, and conduct job briefings as needed.
  5. Support the development and implementation of an in-house recruitment solution using the HR system and intranet to streamline the hiring process.
  6. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Proficiency in conducting different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.).
  • Strong ability to source and engage candidates using various direct sourcing methods.
  • Understanding of the Fluid Power industry.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Experience with HR systems and in-house recruitment solutions.
