We are seeking a talented Trainee Patent Attorney to join our dynamic Intellectual Property team at Lewis Silkin. As a Trainee Patent Attorney, you will play a key role in advising clients on the filing, prosecution, and litigation of intellectual property rights across various technologies and sectors.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading intellectual property practice that offers a unique IP360 service. You will be part of a hard-working, friendly, and supportive team, working on high-profile cases and collaborating with IP litigators and commercial lawyers.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting, filing, and prosecution of software/electrical patents for UK or EPO
  • Collaborating with IP litigators and commercial lawyers on complex, multijurisdictional business challenges
  • Providing solutions to clients on intellectual property rights across various technologies and sectors
  • Engaging in business development and extracurricular activities
  • Prioritizing work and deadlines effectively
Requirements
  • Part-Qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney
  • Excellent academic background in a computing or electrical technical discipline
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team player with excellent time and deadline management skills
