Job Title: Communications Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Officer to join our team at Unilever. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our communications strategy, managing our web presence, and leading on social media activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and delivery of our communications strategy
  • Work collaboratively with staff and grant holders to write, edit, and proofread communication materials
  • Develop and commission digital assets and messaging for key digital channels
  • Develop, collate, and update online content, including the website and social media channels
  • Plan and organize virtual and live events as part of the communications strategy
  • Assist with the evaluation and monitoring of communications activities
  • Manage advertising and email marketing campaigns
  • Identify and maintain a database of key stakeholders
  • Generate lists and reports from the grants management system

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, highly IT literate
  • Communications experience in print, digital, and social media
  • Experience in using social media tools effectively for outreach and engagement
  • Proven experience in producing effective web content
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in working with computer-based and online applications
