About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Fellow in Interventional Cardiology to join our team at the Lincolnshire Heart Centre. As a key member of our Interventional Cardiology service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical research programme.

The successful candidate will have a CCT in Cardiology, basic training in coronary intervention, and a strong interest in complex PCI and procedural numbers. You will work closely with our experienced consultants and specialist nurses to develop your skills and knowledge in interventional cardiology.

Main Responsibilities
  • To perform approximately 400 solo or first-operator procedures during the 12-month period.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of clinical research studies in interventional cardiology.
  • To contribute to the education and training of junior staff members in interventional cardiology.
Requirements

Candidates must have a CCT in Cardiology, basic training in coronary intervention, and a strong interest in complex PCI and procedural numbers. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
